Gail is passionate about writing. She currently authors Writing on the Senior Side: a 1000 to 1200-word story published every other week in The Haliburton County Echo-County Life newspaper. Gail has published stories in The New Canadian Stories Magazine and several short stories are published on online publications including curatedmicrofiction.com, micomance.com and an anthology -Heavens to Murgatroyd. Gail has also completed the coursework and is working on the final project for a Certificate in Writing from the University of Toronto. Her future writing plans also include publishing her collection of family stories and a cozy mystery novel. Gail is a retired school principal who lives in Haliburton, Ontario, with her husband of 56 years, Peter. She is a mother of four and grandmother of nine.
