About the event
Christmas in the Village returns to the Minden Hills Cultural Centre on Saturday, November 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join us for a festive celebration at the Heritage Village and Nature’s Place Interpretive Centre. Enjoy a local artisan market, holiday décor, Christmas ornament crafts, and an old-fashioned candy shop. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and soak in the holiday spirit! Santa will be there after the Santa Claus Parade, hearing children’s wishes, and there will be a Santa letter-writing station.
The Haliburton County Public Library will offer button-making and storytime during the event. A book sale, hosted by the Friends of the Haliburton County Public Library, will also be available.
The Agnes Jamieson Gallery will be open for the final week of the exhibit Burner Herzog, by local artists Gary Blundell and Victoria Ward.
Admission is by donation, and no registration is required.
