About the event
Art on the Dock is an Annual Kennisis Lakes Community event, started and supported by the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners’ Association. It is an event for Artists on our Lake to exhibit and sell their art. Over time it has evolved to include some talented relatives and friends of our lake community. Artists display on their docks, outdoor spaces, decks, often inside cottages, in lofts or in their garages. Visitors tour the lake by boat or car to view and purchase items displayed by artists. Over the last years we have had an incredible range of artistic talents including: knitters, musicians, painters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, food artists, potters, quilters, soap makers, photographers, glass artists and carvers.
Locations and artists are selected through a registration and review process each winter.
The KLCOA has organized this event each summer since 2015 and through it raised thousands of dollars in support of the local Artists in the Schools program. It is a great way to meet others who live and work around the lake.
